1. Why choose an Experiential Journey?
   There are many reasons to travel with us. Perhaps the most important is that no two journeys are alike. Your trip is designed to include the elements you choose. From lodging to activities, transportation to destination, your journey is unique. You'll travel safely in the care of top notch guides. Even better, you spend your valuable time having fun! All arrangements are made by our capable staff. You simply pack your bags and join us.
    
2. Why does EJ ask so many questions?
   To craft the trip that is just right for you, we want to know as much as possible about your ideal dream trip. The more comprehensive we are, the better your trip will be.
    
3. What if I don't know where I want to go?
   That's just fine. We'll help you find just the right destinations and adventures. Traveling with experts makes your planning enjoyable and easy.
    
4. Why would I want to let you "surprise me" with a mystery trip?
   Our "surprise me" trips actually came about as a result of an experience created by one of our travel team. Ashley and her fianc?frequently visit restaurants and encourage the servers and chefs to surprise them with whatever meal they wish. Some restaurants balk at the idea but others take that bold step and bring out wonderful dishes (some not even on the menu.) Just imagine the kitchen staff peeking around the corner to see the reaction. The world is filled with so many wonderful experiences to enjoy. Imagine how exciting it would be to board a plane and know that you're embarking on a magnificent adventure. It's a bit like being an early explorer - not knowing exactly which path you'll take but knowing that the world will show you wonderful things along the way. Sure, it's a leap of faith to travel this way, but you'll have excellent stories to tell.
    
5. What about the weather?
   We'll give you a packing list that takes into consideration the weather at your destination. We suggest that you bring along a sense of adventure. Weather is not something that can be predicted with great accuracy. We'll do what we can to take advantage of the weather conditions. With that in mind, you may get a bit wet or you may enjoy bright sunshine. Whatever the weather, you'll have a grand time.
    
6. How much does it cost to take an Experiential Journey?
   Every journey is individually designed and priced. Your travel costs will be dependent on the type of transportation you choose, how many people are traveling, the accommodations and activities. A moderately active trip for four people will typically range from $750 to $850 per person per day including your personal tour guide, transportation, comfortable accommodations, some meals and activities. If you choose upgraded transportation, more unique lodging, lots of activities and gourmet meals, the price will, of course, be more.
    
7. Where will my trip begin?
   Our journeys begin from a number of points throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Your custom itinerary will list the required departure city and airport.
    
8. How far in advance should I plan my trip?
   We recommend you plan well in advance of your travel dates so there is a wider variety of lodging and activities available. Some of the unique experiences we include have limited availability and can sell out quickly. If possible, plan a few months in advance. We can often plan trips with limited notice, particularly if you are flexible with your plans.
    
9. How do I pay for my trip?
   Due to the unique nature of our trips, we require a deposit to secure all of your lodging and activities and the balance of payment 30 days prior to your arrival. Deposits vary depending on the vendors that we choose for your trip.
    
10. How many people can be part of our group?
    We can accommodate groups from two to forty or more. The smaller the group, however, the more personalized we can be with your itinerary. Most of our journeys are for groups of ten or fewer.
     
11. What if I have to cancel my journey?
    You will be provided with cancellation information along with the proposed itinerary for your trip. Since our vendors often have limited availability, cancellation terms will coincide with that of our vendors and guides. A portion of your deposit is non-refundable and will cover the cost of your itinerary design and preliminary travel arrangements. We highly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of an emergency. Should you need to reschedule your trip, we will make every attempt to do so but you should be aware that some vendors may assess a charge for date changes. We are unable to cancel a trip within 30 days of your departure date.
